Michael Damron has sat in all three chairs. That is an unusual resume for a structural engineer, and it is the reason the work comes out practical.
The Principal
Michael Damron, PE, LEED AP
More than 25 years in the design, evaluation, analysis and repair of structural building systems, across residential, commercial, industrial and public sector projects.
Before consulting, he worked as a construction contractor in both residential and commercial markets, and he has been the owner on projects of his own. Having stood on all three sides means a drawing is judged by whether a crew can actually build it, on the schedule and for the money that was promised.
He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction, a registered Professional Engineer in eleven states, and registered with the U.S. Green Building Council as a LEED Accredited Professional.
