Careers

Structural engineer jobs in Winchester, Virginia

Two open roles. A small firm, a wide range of buildings, and the Principal who seals the drawings at the next desk.

Why Damron

Small office, serious work

Every project in this office is touched by the engineer who signs it. You will not spend a year on one detail of one building. You will carry real assignments on real structures from the first month.

Real range, early

Residential, commercial and government structures. Schools, a hospital campus, parking garages, municipal buildings and a homeowner’s load bearing wall, sometimes in the same week.

The PE at the next desk

Michael Damron, PE, LEED AP has sat as owner, contractor and consultant over 25 years. You learn how a drawing gets built, not only how it gets drawn.

Revit BIM from day one

Models coordinated with the other disciplines, AutoCAD for details, Robot or similar finite element software for analysis, Visual Analysis and IES where they fit.

Field work, not only desk work

Site investigations that carry existing conditions into the construction documents. You will see the buildings you are designing for.

Both positions do the same work on the same projects. The difference is how much of it you have already done.
